Stay away from precut 6 inch squares unless you're just starting out. Try different rolls of paper and experiment, seeing what holds shapes best, crease reversal, etc. Grab some packs of tissue at a dollar store if they have them where you live. You should also get Elmer's Paste, and use that to backcoat tissue and for shaping the models. You can also try making tissue foil with pva or spray glue. Also try to find the Asian business district where you live to see if you can find handmade papers. Don't get paper from origami shop. You can find it for cheaper elsewhere. Don't waste your money or time.
