western rpgs

No.40520157 ViewReplyOriginalReport
I would like recomendations and maybe pdfs of wild west rpgs.

I would prefer stuff without or with a minimum of magic and no deadlands please. Also please do not suggest simulation or highly realistic systems as no one in my group would play one.

How can I create an interesting, fun [even if not for the whole party at once, but something that every one would get a shot at glory], stealth-based mission that is not frustrating while still being punishing enough so as to not make players think going all guns blazin' would be the best solution?

I'm stumped.

[nWoD][Recruitment] Crossroads: One-on-One With A Twist

===================================================
Introduction

In the World of Darkness, everyone's struggle is personal. So every player character here gets plenty of one-on-one Storyteller attention. However, the personal nature of one's struggle does not mean that they are alone. Sometimes they meet others who are on their own path, and when they do, it's always interesting.

Mid-week Drawthread

Might as well get it started early.

>Post any art requests you have ITT. Keep in mind, the drawfriends are doing this for free, so do not be surprised or upset if they gloss over your post. Just be patient, and bump your request ONE time, every 24 hours after posting it.

>Additionally, please provide good, detailed references, so the artists know what you're looking for as best you can. If you've recently had a request filled by a drawfriend, please be considerate of less fortunate anons and hold off on additional requests for a while.

>Mind your manners, don't be rude to other people's requests, and remember: say thank you!

>Feel free to drop your tumblrs/websites/commission/etc information drawfriends.

"Marcela Telehanicova, of Ivybridge, England, woke up one morning to find an army of gnomes in her front yard, 30 rows deep.

In a story headlined “Call Gnomeland Security,” The Plymouth Herald reports that the statuettes were placed there sometime between 9.30pm on June 1 and 1.30 am on June 2.

No gnomes were reported missing and authorities have no idea who did this or why. Marcela found this act to be hysterical."

Proxies

No.40493099 ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
Here's a question for you /tg/.

Should a player's ability to compete in a tournament or high level setting be limited by how much money they're willing to spend beforehand?

Should a player without the means to spend high amounts of money on a game effectively be barred from playing a popular deck, forcing them to play outside of sanctioned events or resort to free programs such as Cockatrice.

Why summon an elder god?

No.40515969 ViewReplyOriginalReport
I'm thinking about having a BBEG summon an elder sea god, but the stakes are high enough that I'm not sure what motivation would justify it.

Easy fall backs are for power, for knowledge, or because they are a fanatic worshiper I guess. Just wondering if there are some better reasons for a character to want to summon an otherworldly being of immense power?
