Anyone else interested in the history of English?
Can you guys read this?

Oure fadir that art in heuenes,
halewid be thi name;

be thi wille don, in erthe as in heuene.
Yyue to vs this dai oure breed ouer othir substaunce,
and foryyue to vs oure dettis, as we foryyuen to oure dettouris;
and lede vs not in to temptacioun, but delyuere vs fro yuel. Amen.

What about this?

Fæder ure þu þe eart on heofonum;

Work/Study Internationally

No.42994261 ViewReplyOriginalReport
I don't come to /int/ much but I figured this is the correct place to ask this. I'm a recent graduate in the U.S. (economics BA, statistics minor) and I'm not totally sold on living my whole life here. Long story short, I'm interested in working or possibly getting a graduate degree somewhere else internationally. Ideally, this would be in another English-speaking country as I recognize and respect the obvious inefficiency associated with trying to perform up to par in a second language. My favorite choices are New Zealand and Australia, though I would also consider Canada and maybe a handful of others. I don't have a whole lot of professional experience but I'm an intelligent guy and am willing to relocate and learn something new.

Does anyone here have experience doing this? Did you go to any of the countries I mentioned? Where did you start with this process?

tldr; OP wants to go somewhere else and how do this? danke
