I've got to say, /a/ is actually a fairly good place on the internet and I only realized this after experiencing other websites and boards. Spending a large amount of time on /a/ leads to over saturation of the community and posting standard, everything feels more or less ritualistic and people that disagree with you seem far more prominent and shitty, I experienced this two years ago in full so I left /a/ grumpily because I felt it was full of shitposters. What followed was awful, I managed to avoid /a/ for about four months. To say the very least I was drowning in the filth of the internet and became accustomed to it, after spending so much time exposed to garbage I eventually got fed up with the garbage and came back to /a/. In which I realized this place is about as good as it gets, even /b/ tier comments like >>126560830
are a big upgrade, i'll never leave again. Its so much worse everywhere else I know now that I truly love /a/ and it's community.
